I had a fantastic hour up at Brimham Rocks near Pateley Bridge last weekend. Well after closing time, around midnight. It had been a gloomy foggy day but amazingly cleared about 11pm and showed off lots of stars.
Made more use of the new Samyang 14mm at its widest f2.8 setting and some long 30 second exposures.

I had a lot of fun yesterday photographing my friends new dog, Dillon. Fantastic little chap from the Dogs trust. He really doesn't sit still for long but is such a fantastic character.

I really enjoy working with wide angle lenses. Used in the right setting they have the power to capture some really dramatic images. Get it wrong however and you the thing you are trying to capture can end up lost. Great for getting up close where it would not normally be possible, or alternatively capturing some really big scenes, big skies in par...
